How does the magic reveal effect work on these cards?
Each card is printed with animal outlines in a clear wax coating. When a coloured pencil passes over the surface, the wax repels the pigment so the drawn lines stay white against the coloured background, making the animal picture appear. No special technique is needed - the effect happens automatically as a child colours.
Can the cards be used more than once?
Each card can be coloured multiple times by choosing a different colour scheme on each attempt. The wax-resist lines remain intact after colouring, so a child can revisit a favourite card and try a completely different palette to get a fresh result.
Are the pencils safe if a child gets them on their hands or clothes?
