Privacy policy

This policy explains what we do with your personal information. Robbie Toys Limited, trading as Toytastic, is the controller of it. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 03392671, at 1 The Lane, The Loop, Manston Business Park, Minster, Kent CT12 5EZ.

You can reach us about anything on this page by email, or by phone on 01843 604448.

What we collect, and why

When you place an order we collect your name, delivery and billing address, email address and telephone number. We need these to take the order, deliver it, and contact you if something goes wrong. The lawful basis is performance of our contract with you.

If you create an account we keep the same details so you do not have to type them again, along with your order history and anything you have saved to a wishlist.

If you ask us to tell you when a product is back in stock, we keep your email address against that product until we have sent the message or you ask us to stop.

If you contact us by email or by phone we keep what you send us, so that we can answer and so that we have a record if the matter comes back.

We never see your card details. Payment is taken on our payment provider's own pages, and they pass us back only a confirmation and the last four digits.

Cookies and analytics

Some cookies are necessary for the site to work at all: they remember what is in your basket, keep you signed in, and record the choice you make in the cookie banner. These are set without asking, because the shop cannot function without them.

We also use Google Analytics to understand which pages people find useful. Those cookies are set only if you accept them, and not before. You can change your mind at any time from the link in the footer, and if you decline, nothing analytics-related loads at all. Our cookie policy lists each cookie by name.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with the companies that help us fulfil your order, and only with what each of them needs to do their part:

  • Our ecommerce platform, which hosts the shop and stores order and account records
  • Our payment provider, who takes the payment
  • The couriers who deliver your parcel, who need your name, address and usually a phone number or email for delivery notifications
  • Our warehouse and order management system, which picks and despatches the order
  • Google Analytics, but only if you accepted analytics cookies

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anybody else's marketing. We do use it for our own. Our Google Analytics is linked to our Google Ads account, so the same data that tells us which pages are useful also tells us which of our adverts worked, and it can be used to show our own adverts to people who have visited the shop. That is Google processing it for our campaigns, not passing it to other advertisers.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for seven years, because HMRC requires us to keep records of our sales. Account details are kept until you close the account. Back-in-stock requests are deleted once the message has been sent. Contact emails are kept for two years.

Where it is held

Your information is stored on servers in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Where a supplier we use transfers information outside the UK, that transfer is covered by the safeguards UK data protection law requires.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to our using it, and ask for it in a portable form. Ask, and we will respond within one month.

Some of those have limits. We cannot delete an order record we are legally required to keep, for instance, though we can restrict what we do with it.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first, so that we can put it right.

Children

We sell toys, but we sell them to adults. The site is not intended for children to buy from, and we do not knowingly collect information from a child. If you believe a child has given us their details, tell us and we will delete them.

Links to other websites

Our pages sometimes link to manufacturers and to other sites. Once you follow one of those links this policy no longer applies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything material here we will say so on this page. This version was published in August 2026.
