Simply mix the safe plaster powder with water and pour it into the detailed mould. It features a unicorn, a butterfly, a shell, and many other pretty shapes. What shapes can you make with this jewellery casting kit?
The reusable mould contains 11 different shapes, including a unicorn, butterfly, heart, seahorse, starfish, shell and flower. Each casting produces a solid plaster charm ready to paint, glitter and attach to the included cords, ribbon bands or ring bases.
How long does the plaster take to set before painting?
SES Creative's plaster is quick-drying; under normal room conditions it typically sets firm enough to remove from the mould within 30-60 minutes. Leaving the cast to dry fully for a further hour before painting gives the best paint adhesion and reduces the risk of the charm cracking.
Are the plaster and paints safe for children and easy to clean up?
All materials in the kit are manufactured and tested in SES Creative's Netherlands factory to European toy safety standards. The plaster and poster paints are water-based and wash easily from skin and most fabrics. Adult supervision is recommended when handling the moulding powder and the small jewellery fixings such as brooch pins and ring bases.
