Are these SES Beedz compatible with Hama or Perler pegboards?
SES Beedz use the standard 5 mm iron-on bead diameter, which matches Hama, Perler, and other mainstream pegboard brands. They sit and fuse on those boards in the same way as own-brand beads, so you can mix this sky blue refill into an existing multi-brand collection without any issues.
What do I need that isn't in the bag?
The pack contains only the 1000 sky blue beads. You will also need a pegboard to arrange the design and ironing paper (sometimes called a fusing sheet) to melt the beads together - neither is included. A clothes iron set to a medium heat, used without steam, completes the process.
How many beads does a typical project use?
A small square design on a standard 29 x 29 peg board uses roughly 400-600 beads, so a 1000-pack is enough for at least one full project or a generous top-up of sky blue across several designs. Larger connected-board scenes can use several thousand beads in total.
