What time formats does the Goki wooden clock cover?
The clock face displays both 12-hour and 24-hour formats simultaneously. The outer ring shows the standard 1-12 hour numbers in red, a dotted minute track marks every five-minute interval, and an inner red disc carries the 13-24 numbers for the 24-hour clock - so children can begin reading both formats from the same tool.
Can the hands be set to any time, or only to the hour and half-hour?
Both the hour and minute hands move independently and can be positioned at any point on the dial, allowing the time to be set precisely to the minute. This makes the clock suitable for practising quarter-past, quarter-to, and all intervals in between, not just whole or half hours.
How is the Goki clock displayed - does it hang on the wall?
A white cotton cord loop is attached to the top of the clock, so it can hang on a wall hook or a classroom display board. At approximately 28 cm in diameter the face is large enough to read clearly from a short distance, making it practical for both home use and a school setting.
