Does the Geomag Mechanics Gravity Vertical Motor need batteries?
No batteries are required at any stage. The motor is driven entirely by the weight of the steel spheres rolling down the corkscrew shaft - gravity and magnetism do all the work. This also means there are no charging cables or power sources to manage.
Can this set be combined with other Geomag Mechanics Gravity sets?
The Easy Combo System printed on the box confirms compatibility with the Race Track set (No. 760). For a larger build, the Super Combo adds Loops and Turns (No. 763) and the Elevator Circuit (No. 765) to create an extended, multi-stage marble run. All Geomag Mechanics Gravity sets share the same connection system.
How does the gravity motor actually work?
Load up to eight steel spheres onto the starting track, then give the propeller at the top a manual spin to get things moving. As the spheres roll down the corkscrew shaft, their weight keeps the propeller turning. They exit at the bottom into a collection zone, ready to be reloaded and sent round again.
