The kit builds 6 different motorised dinosaur models from one set of parts - including a Brontosaurus, Stegosaurus, Triceratops, Pterodactyl, and Ankylosaurus. Each model is dismantled and rebuilt into the next, making the set excellent value for extended project-based play.
What batteries does the Engino Palaeontology dinosaur kit need?
The motorised gearbox runs on 3 x AAA batteries, which are not included in the box. The motor features a forward-reverse switch and a high-torque gearbox that drives each model's movement once assembled.
Does the kit come with instructions, and is there an app available?
Both printed and digital instructions are included. The booklet covers 15 pages of step-by-step building guides, 11 pages of palaeontology theory, 2 pages of hands-on experiments, and a revision quiz. Engino's free kidCAD app also provides interactive 3D building instructions online.
