The kit contains enough snap-fit components to build 8 fully working mechanical models one at a time, including a fishing crane, oil pumpjack, moving figure, moving bridge, sewing machine, and a flapping flying eagle. All 8 sets of step-by-step instructions are printed in the included booklet and are also available as free 3D interactive guides via the Engino kidCAD app.
Does the Engino STEM Mechanics Cams & Cranks kit need batteries?
No batteries are required. All models are powered manually by hand-turning the crank or cam mechanism, which is central to the learning experience - children observe directly how their own rotational input converts into different types of motion within each model.
