The included 2-speed geared motor runs on 2 x AAA batteries, which are not supplied in the box. Having a set of AAA batteries ready before the first build means children can power up their creations straight away.
How many pieces are included in the CB-D30 Designer set?
The set contains 166 precision parts in the signature lilac, fuchsia, light green and sky blue colour palette, all stored in a single box. One set of parts is used to build each of the 30 models in turn - disassemble one model to build the next.
Can the 30 models be built using an app, or are printed instructions included?
Both options are available. Printed step-by-step instructions are included in the box for the main model, and all 30 builds are accessible via the Engino kidCAD app, which offers interactive 3D views that can be rotated, zoomed and exploded for easier assembly.
