Challenge friends and family to the classic Scandinavian throwing game of Kubb. This exciting game of skill and strategy is perfect for the garden, park, or beach. Two teams face off, taking turns to throw the wooden batons in an attempt to knock over their opponent’s blocks, known as ‘Kubbs’. Once a team has cleared all their opponent’s Kubbs, they must then topple the mighty King in the centre to claim victory. This Goki set is made from solid wood and comes complete with a cotton bag for easy storage and transport.

Kubb is played by two teams, with no fixed limit on team size - groups of two to around twelve players work well. Smaller teams of two or three per side suit a garden session, while larger teams make it a lively activity for parties or family gatherings. The rules stay the same regardless of team size.
The game plays best on grass, but the pointed corner stakes also push into sand, compacted gravel, and firm soil without difficulty. A roughly flat area of around 5 metres by 8 metres is recommended for the standard pitch, though smaller spaces work fine for casual play. Avoid concrete or paving, as the wooden pieces can chip on hard surfaces.
Rules are included in the box alongside the 21 wooden pieces and the cotton carry bag. The objective is straightforward: throw the batons to knock down the opposing team's Kubbs, then topple the King to win. Most first-time players are up and running within a few minutes of opening the bag.
