Kubb is played by two teams, so the minimum is two players - one per side. Teams can include as many players as you like, making it a flexible choice for garden parties or family get-togethers with larger groups.
Kubb plays best on a flat, firm surface - closely cut grass or compacted sand both work well. The four corner markers peg into the ground to define the playing field, so very hard surfaces such as tarmac or concrete are less suitable.
