Most of the core ingredients are included - red, yellow, and blue sodium bicarbonate powders, citric acid, two pipettes, a spoon, and a reusable mould. However, you will also need around 20 g of cornstarch and a small amount of olive oil per ball; these are not supplied in the box, so pick them up beforehand.
The kit includes 6 step-by-step activities detailed in the 16-page illustrated instruction booklet. The exact number of bath balls produced depends on mould size and how the powders are used across the activities, so the kit is designed for multiple sessions of making and experimenting.
The kit uses non-toxic, skin-safe sodium bicarbonate powders and citric acid - the same base ingredients found in commercial bath bombs. Adult supervision is required throughout, and the citric acid powder can cause serious eye irritation, so children should avoid touching their faces during mixing.
