The dough is gluten-free, non-toxic, and hypoallergenic, and SES Creative deliberately make it extremely salty so toddlers are far less likely to eat it. Adult supervision is still recommended, as the set contains small parts - the shape cutters - that are not suitable for children under 12 months.
The dough is formulated not to dry out during play, and each pot has a resealable lid - with no ring-pull that could become a small-part hazard - so the dough stays soft and reusable for many sessions when stored correctly after use.
The set includes three pots of brightly coloured dough (orange, blue, and green) alongside geometric shape cutters. Eight illustrated activity cards show children which coloured shapes to cut out and match to complete each picture, supporting early colour and shape recognition.
