The safety scissors included are specially designed to cut through dough and paper only - they cannot cut real hair or clothing, making them a controlled introduction to scissor use for children from age 1 upwards. Adult supervision is still recommended during play.
All dough in the SES My First range is gluten-free, hypoallergenic, and made from vegetable-based materials, so it is suitable for children with gluten sensitivities. The dough is also made intentionally salty to discourage young children from eating it.
