Simply drop the balls into a bucket of water and leave them to soak for a few seconds. They absorb water quickly, so they are ready to throw almost immediately. After each round, a quick rinse under a tap refreshes them for the next game.
The balls are made from soft, fluffy material - similar to a large pom-pom - so they release their water on impact rather than bouncing hard off skin. At approximately 5 cm across and rated for ages 3 and over, they are designed to deliver a satisfying splash without stinging. Adult supervision is recommended for younger children during active throwing games.
The balls work equally well wet or dry, so they can be used indoors for dry catching and throwing games without any water at all. In a paddling pool or at the beach they soak up water readily; after play, spread them out to air-dry fully before storing to keep them in good condition.
