The set contains 8 pencils: red, orange, yellow, green, light blue, blue, violet, and black/brown. Note that pink is not included in this range - if that is a must-have colour, it is worth checking SES Creative's broader My First range for alternative sets.
SES Creative rates these pencils as super washable. Marks on skin and most fabrics should come off with warm water, making them a practical choice for unsupervised toddler colouring sessions. As with all pigments, prompt washing gives the best results on clothing.
The hexagonal barrel is noticeably thicker than a standard pencil - designed so that toddlers from 12 months can wrap their whole hand around it rather than needing a pincer grip. The pencils are also shorter than full-length adults pencils, keeping the centre of gravity low and control easier for small hands.
