SES Creative's plaster mix is fast-drying; most figures are firm enough to remove from the mould and begin painting within approximately 30-60 minutes at room temperature, though allowing a full hour before handling gives the cleanest results. The included instructions provide exact guidance for the recommended drying time.
The casting mould is made from recycled plastic and is fully reusable. Once a set of figures has dried and been removed, children can mix another batch of plaster and cast a fresh set - useful for trying different colour schemes or making figures to give as gifts.
