All Green Beedz are 100% compatible with other standard iron-on bead sets, so children can mix them freely with existing collections. The beads share the same dimensions as conventional iron-on beads, meaning any standard pegboard or ironing paper works just as well.
The box contains 1800 plant-based iron-on beads in a multi-colour mix, one hexagonal pegboard made from recycled polystyrene, one sheet of ironing paper, and an instruction booklet with designs for seven forest animals including a fox, deer, owl, rabbit, squirrel, bear, and hedgehog.
Fusing the beads requires a clothes iron at a temperature hot enough to melt the plastic together - a task that carries a burn risk for young children. Once an adult has ironed and cooled the finished design, the fused piece is completely safe for children aged 5 and over to handle, display, or play with.
