The reusable mould features 11 ocean-themed designs, including a mermaid, dolphin, crab, octopus, seahorse, tropical fish, starfish, two types of shell, and a turtle. Each figure can be painted in any combination of the six included colours and finished with pink glitter for a sparkling effect.
Both the plaster mix and the paints are formulated to be safe for children aged 5 and over, and SES Creative confirms they wash out easily from textiles and skin. Adult supervision is recommended throughout the casting process, as the kit contains small parts.
The mould is reusable, so children can cast multiple rounds of figures. The plaster supplied in the box is sufficient to fill all 11 shapes once per bag; once it runs out, SES Creative sells replacement plaster packs separately so the mould can be used again.
