Frequently Asked Questions

The mould contains nine breed shapes - based on the box artwork these include a poodle, dachshund, labrador, French bulldog, Border collie, chihuahua, golden retriever, and a spaniel-type puppy, plus two accessory shapes such as a paw print and a food bowl. Exact breed labelling follows the instruction booklet supplied in the box.
SES Creative's plaster powder is fast-drying; most figures are firm enough to remove from the mould within approximately 30 minutes at room temperature, though leaving them a full hour ensures the plaster is fully hardened before painting begins. Drying time may be slightly longer in cooler or more humid conditions.
The mould is fully reusable. Once all 300g of supplied plaster has been used, replacement plaster powder of the same type can be purchased separately to cast a fresh set of figures. The mould itself does not degrade with repeated use, provided it is rinsed clean and allowed to dry between pours.
