The box contains a bag of plaster mix, one large reusable plastic mould with 11 cat and dog designs, 6 pots of paint, a tub of glitter, a paintbrush, a mixing stick, and an instruction booklet - everything needed to cast and decorate the figures in one sitting.
SES Creative's plaster is fast-drying; under normal room conditions the figures are typically firm enough to release from the mould within 20-30 minutes. Allowing a further 15-20 minutes before painting helps ensure the surface is fully dry and takes the paint cleanly.
The plastic mould is fully reusable. Once the first set of figures has been removed and painted, the mould can be wiped clean and filled again - useful if children want to cast the same designs in different colour schemes or give figures to friends.
