The boards are designed for standard 5 mm iron-on beads and work with all major brands, including Hama, Perler, and Nabbi, as well as SES Beedz beads. Any bead that fits a standard 5 mm pegboard grid will sit correctly on these hexagon boards.
The interlocking edge connectors allow you to arrange the three boards in a straight row, a triangular cluster, or an offset zigzag - giving you a different canvas shape for each project. Purchasing additional sets of the same boards lets you expand the layout even further.
Placing the beads is suitable for children aged 5 and over working independently, but an adult must handle the ironing step. The heat required to fuse the beads means a grown-up should always do the pressing, using ironing paper (sold separately) placed over the finished design.
