Frequently Asked Questions

SES Beedz iron-on beads are 5mm in diameter - the same standard size used by Hama Midi and Perler Midi boards - so they fit and fuse on those pegboards as well as on official Beedz boards. Always check that any third-party board specifies 5mm midi-size compatibility before use.
The beads absorb light energy during normal daylight or under artificial lighting, then release it as a green glow once the light source is removed. Holding the finished design close to a bright lamp for 30-60 seconds before switching off the room light gives the strongest, longest-lasting glow effect.
You will need a 5mm pegboard to arrange the beads into a design, ironing paper (or baking parchment) to protect the iron, and a dry household iron set to medium heat. None of these are included in this refill pack, but SES Beedz pegboards and starter sets are available separately.
