The LED lightshow runs on three AAA batteries, which are included in the box so the trike is ready to ride straight away. The lights activate automatically when the wheels turn and switch off after ten seconds of inactivity to help the batteries last longer.
The RipRider 360 Lightshow has no conventional brake. Razor's own safety guidance states it should be ridden on smooth, dry, level ground away from streets, hills, and steps, with the rider slowing by reducing pedalling and using foot drag. A helmet and appropriate safety gear are strongly recommended.
