The E100 runs on a 24V sealed-lead-acid system made up of two 12-volt batteries housed beneath the deck. Razor specifies a charge time of approximately 4 to 6 hours for subsequent charges, and the battery and charger are included in the box.
Razor rates the E100 for riders up to 120 lb (approximately 54 kg), which comfortably covers most children from age 8 through to around 12 years old. Riders approaching or exceeding that limit should consider stepping up to the Razor E200 or E300, which support greater weights.
The handlebars can be detached from the stem using an allen key to reduce the scooter's footprint for boot storage or tight spaces, but the E100 does not have a quick-fold mechanism. The retractable kickstand keeps it stable and upright when parked indoors.
