The Geomag Mechanics Gravity Combo Starter Set gives builders aged 7 and up the chance to construct up to 11 different dynamic circuits using 153 pieces that combine classic magnetic rods, steel spheres, and innovative mechanical parts. Circuits can include a 360-degree loop, jumps, parabolic curves, and a magnetic cannon that propels spheres along the tracks, putting the forces of gravity and magnetism to work in every build. The hands-on nature of the set encourages creativity, problem-solving, and an understanding of real physics principles as children experiment with how the components interact.

This magnetic construction set comes with online video instructions to guide builders through each of the 11 circuit variations, making it straightforward to get started and to progress to more complex designs. Bringing together the well-established Geomag magnetic rod-and-sphere system with purpose-built mechanical elements, the Gravity Combo Starter Set bridges creative construction and introductory mechanics in a single box. The 153-piece count provides plenty of material to try different configurations and challenge young builders to rethink how each circuit can be adapted or extended.

Frequently Asked Questions

All Geomag Mechanics Gravity sets share the Easy Combo System, so this 153-piece starter connects directly to the Race Track (#760), Loops & Turns (#763), Vertical Motor (#764), and Elevator Circuit (#765) sets. Builders can join one or more of these expansions to create significantly larger, more complex circuits without any adapters.
The box includes instructions for 11 circuits in total: two standalone base models called the Arrow and the Snake, plus 10 Easy Combo combinations that merge elements of both. A bonus Advanced Model is also published on Geomag's website, giving experienced builders an extra challenge once the 11 in-box circuits are mastered.
No batteries are required. Every circuit runs entirely on gravity and magnetism - the magnetic cannon uses magnetic repulsion to launch steel spheres, while the loops, curves, and jumps are all powered by the kinetic energy of the descending ball. A printed instruction booklet and online video guides are included to help with each build.
