The ERP Pro controller runs on 3 x AAA batteries, which are not included in the box. You will need to have these to hand before your first build session, as the motors and electronic functions all draw power through the controller.
The set supports 100 different motorised models, from racing cars and planes to walking dinosaurs and a robotic arm. Two printed instruction booklets are included in the tub, and a further 98 guided builds are available online through Engino's interactive instruction platform.
The Maker Pro uses Engino's own snap-fit connector system, which is not cross-compatible with LEGO or other proprietary building systems. It is, however, compatible with other sets in the Engino Creative Engineering and Inventor ranges, so existing Engino parts can be combined to extend the build possibilities.
