This activity is perfect for the youngest artists, providing a fun and surprising way to find hidden characters. Simply fill the brush with a little water and paint over the cards to see the colourful animals magically appear.

As the water from the safe-to-use brush touches the special cards, the hidden animals are revealed in bright colours. The cards are designed for repeated use - once they dry (around five minutes in normal room conditions), the colours fade completely and the hidden animals disappear, resetting the card for the next session. SES Creative states the cards can be used over and over again, though card longevity will depend on how carefully they are stored and kept flat while drying.
The set contains four cards featuring different animal habitats: a jungle scene with a sloth, tiger and chameleon; a pond scene with a frog, duck, jellyfish and crab; a woodland scene with animals around a tree; and a domestic pet scene with cats and rabbits. Each card reveals its animals in full colour when painted with water.
The brush is specifically designed for the youngest children in the SES My First range. The bristles are fixed and cannot fall out during use, removing a common choking risk associated with standard art brushes. As with all small accessories, adult supervision is recommended during play.
