Eight foam figures come in the box: a shark, a dolphin, a purple octopus, a purple whale, a pink sea slug, and three differently patterned tropical fish. Each creature has a yellow plastic clip hook attached so it sits upright and is easy to target with the fishing rod.
The foam creatures float on any still water surface, so they work in a paddling pool or water table just as well as the bath. On smooth, wet surfaces such as tiles they also press flat and stick, giving children a creative way to arrange their catch after the fishing session.
The yellow plastic clip hooks are small components and are flagged as a choking hazard on the packaging. The set is rated for ages 3 and over, and adult supervision is recommended during play, particularly for younger children in or near water.
