The set contains 48 large buttons (32 mm diameter) in four primary colours - red, blue, yellow, and green - along with 16 illustrated pattern cards, one transparent pegboard, and two plastic stands that hold the board upright during play. All pieces store inside the base tray when the board is clipped on top.
Quercetti manufactures all Fantacolor Junior pieces in Italy using phthalate-free, non-toxic plastic that complies with current European safety regulations. The buttons measure 32 mm across and are intentionally large to reduce any choking risk, though adult supervision is always recommended for children under 3.
The Junior buttons are the large 32 mm format, designed specifically for toddler hands and the Junior-series pegboard. They are not interchangeable with the smaller pegs used in Quercetti's standard Fantacolor sets, which feature 17 mm pegs sized for older children aged 4 and above.
