The Mechanics range is an official extension of Geomag Classic, so all 17 magnetic rods and 24 steel spheres in this set connect directly with rods and spheres from any Geomag Classic collection. The additional mechanical elements - bearings, washers, and linear bars - are specific to the Mechanics line.
The included instruction booklet guides builders through three distinct spinning models: a propeller that drives a second propeller via magnetic repulsion, a rotating arrow that lifts two others as it turns, and a tall tower propeller that sets a ground-level disc in motion. Free-building beyond the guides is also encouraged, and the 86 pieces support a wide variety of original structures.
No batteries or tools are required at any stage. All motion in the models is generated by magnetic attraction and repulsion between the rods and spheres, so structures spin and trigger chain reactions entirely under their own magnetic power straight from the box.
