The OneSea Mermaid is a children's buoyancy aid swimsuit that replaces three separate items in one easy zip. Built from 84% polyester and 16% elastane with layered EPE foam panels sewn directly into the chest, it holds young swimmers in the correct position in the water while UPF 50+ fabric and an integrated hood block 98% of UV rays across the whole body. The mermaid-scale print in lilac and pink, complete with a fin hood and frilled ankle cuffs, makes the suit genuinely exciting to put on.

Sized for ages 2 to 3, this children's buoyancy aid swimsuit arrives in a reusable EVA tote bag that doubles as a beach bag between trips. The buoyancy foam panels are removable as children grow in confidence, allowing the suit to transition into a standard UPF 50+ swimsuit for ages 3 to 4. A front zip makes dressing and undressing quick even on a wriggly toddler, and the suit hand-washes in warm water. All use must be under constant adult supervision – this suit is a buoyancy aid, not a life-saving device.

This is the same standard applied to armbands and swim vests, so the float function is independently tested rather than decorative. The suit is a buoyancy aid only - it does not replace a life jacket and must be used under constant adult supervision at all times.
